Standard First Aid & CPR

This renewal course is designed to review knowledge and skills learned in the full course (highlighted above).

This two-day course covers all the skills in Emergency First Aid plus first aid for other injuries and illnesses including head and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs. This course includes Level C CPR training and certification (Adult, Child, Infant, and 2-rescuer resuscitation) and AED training and certification. This course is an accepted prerequisite for medical, dental, nursing, police, fire, and ambulance programs. The provincially recognized certificate which meets WSIB and Canadian Labour Code certification, valid for three years, is issued upon successful completion. A renewal course is available. Need Standard First Aid, but only have one day available for in-class learning?  The blended learning option may be right for you.  When you register for this type of course, you will receive a log-in and password to complete the theory online.  You can go in and out of the program at your own pass prior to coming in for ONLY one day.  Please note the online learning portion uses Flash and therefore does not work well on Mac devices.  Furthermore, the online learning section is quite extensive and can take up to 8 hours to complete.
